That's the new progressive party. Still hiding behind George W. Bush. Still vilifying the man who protected us for seven years and gave us the best growth period in many years. Yes I know the bottom fell out in his last year mostly due to over spending. The point is the progressives have done nothing but bash Bush. That's what the progressives call "change". So I guess we can expect more of the same old politics with a twist. So far the nominations have been less than stellar, kind of like Baracks
accomplishments and associates. Well it's show time, the lights have dimmed and the curtain is rising. The audience is dead silent.

Shara Palin has real passion for America, You can see it, hear it, feel it, and you can almost touch and taste it. America is in her sole.

She lives her life as she alway has. Shops where she always has. What you see is what you get, no surprises, just Shara Palin. Mother, wife with a job. Just like most of you Moms out there.

She has a passion that runs deep to her core and that is American values. That's how she led her life. There are no skeletons in her closet. That's how she runs the state of Alaska, with American values, American passion.

Quite a contrast to the vitriol coming from Obama and just about every single person Obama has and does associate with. Both he and his wife are filled with vitriol for this Country in plain view for everyone to see, hear and feel.

With the media firmly behind Obama, the truth is not being told, America is being misled. There is a plethora of news being suppressed, to the benefit of the entire Democratic party, which is not your Fathers Democratic party. Not the Democratic party of JFK.

Pelosi, Barny Frank, Schumer and Reed to name a few with enough vitriol for America to sink it.

It takes a long time to build something as great as America and such a short time to destroy it.

America, this is the pivotal point in our way of life. Think twice and vote with passion FOR America not vitriol and the end of America as we know and love.

Birds of a feather flock together. Look who Obama choose to fly with, and who choose to fly with him.

These are all people with an agenda,an anti-American agenda and anti-white agenda in some cases.

Is this the change America wants and needs? I think not. We've made room for these people, allowed them to exist, because that's who we are. Is that what needs to be changed? Absolutely not. Obama and Pelosi and Reed and the rest of the pack will usher in the "fairness doctrine". That would have a chilling affect on most of the media. PC will look mild comparatively speaking.

All these people who sought out each other have misguided or evil ideas and intentions.

From Michele to Pelosi and Reed to Farrakhan, Wright, Ayers and just about everyone Obama flies with are of the same feather.

Is there anyone of obama's friends, past or present, you would be proud to call your friend?

This is a life changing election for America, for you and for me. Think how much change you are willing to go through. Think about what is being said and don't get caught up in making history, voting for the first non white for President.

I knew years ago when they stopped teaching our children in school and started indoctrinating un-American--anti-American ways.

I knew what Khrushchev meant, on that November 26th, 1956 pounding his shoe on the podium at the UN. "We will bury you from within" he screamed. I knew what he meant as he spouted it out. The shift in education was the bomb-shell, unstoppable. It crept in un-noticed and grew by leaps and bounds.

The TV commercials became instructive in their tenor. A new way, unlike your Mother's and Father's way was introduced.

Our heroes were vilified, History was being rewritten. History as we knew it was no longer being taught.

Hollywood became very left and spewing out anti American propaganda.

It's the snow ball effect.

You had to live it to appreciate it, and that's the whole point. We must learn from our past so we don't find ourselves in the same predicament over and over again.

Where are you ? There's a potentially 3rd world country, not really, who needs their election monitored. Are you able to put your hammer down and rush off to this nation slipping into the abyss.

America needes you and maybe Bill Moyers as well, although I don't know his credentionals regarding election monitoring.

It seems there is a election recruiting company that claims they can't keep fraud away from the signup stage of this campaign. Their name--ACORN

One more thing ,it seems to involve the left side of the polictal spectrum. That could be a problem for you, but hey maybe you can turn this into a scandle for the other side.

Who is this Obama and where did he come from? Was it door number one, two or door three? Who are his friends? Are they behind doors one, two or three?

Where is all this money coming from? Is it from behind those doors?

What has he accomplished for the good of America?

What is his voting recored? We know he has been present.

We know he is clean and well spoken; Joe Biden told us that.

I don't know, too much unknown for me to embrace.

The stakes are too high to be gambling on an unknown. At least with McCain/Palin We know what we are getting; transparency, integrity and 100% American.

There's a cold wind blowing. Two candidates, Senators Dodd, Schumer, Pelosi, Reed, Congressman Frank; the list goes on. Then the banks which in the end will be nationalized. Maybe even a auto company or two an airline or two.

"Refunds" to people who contributed nothing to the pot. Has anyone looked inside the pot lately? Start the printing presses boys. A cold wind.

ACORN working feverishly to register every derelict on the street. Registering the dead and as long as you are here would you mind filling out a few more forms. A cold wind blows.

A Press for the most part not doing what the Press should be doing. Some even get chills at the mere mention of Obama. These people are so open about their preferences it's appalling. A cold wind blowing.

The Importance of a Republican Congress

Whether it's Obama or McCain it matters not. The importance of a Republican Congress is paramount. Both candidates are way too far to the left to be of service to the country.

A Republican house will be able to put the brakes on the dangerous ideas being floated around. I know the Republicans went on a spending spree. Things are different now. We are all aware of the need to get involved, to have our voices heard, to hold their feet to the fire. Both candidates will take us into socialism. Pelosi and Reed, Schumer and Frank and the rest of the good time gang must go. There is where the change is needed.

Change is coming one way or another. The thought of one party ruling the country is a recipe for disaster. There must be a counter balance, or the change will break the bank and break the country.

I say throw them all out. Start with no one owing anyone. No favors to be called. Start with a new spirit, new ideas and a loyalty to the people of this country.

I know we can recover.

His lack of time on the scene looms greater and grater. The people who influenced him politically are anti-American. He was on his own when he needed a strong,kind person to guide him. He did the best he could. He choose the wrong people to follow and associate with. He went down the wrong path. Now he still listens to the wrong people. One of the most leftest voting record in the Illinois and the US Senate. I'm sure he will make a fine lawyer for the wrong people.

What's behind ethanol? We know it cost too much to produce,that it has turned the world food supply upside down. We are paying higher prices here in America, but in other places around the World people are really struggling to stay fed. Yes this is election time, but the farm vote can't be that important.

Burning our food supply has got to be the worst idea ever in the history of the United States. Next year it's mandated to raise the amount of ethanol produced to surely put us in deep--deep trouble.

With all the other problems we face, why this one? It is said, "follow the money" and you will know who and what's behind it. I'm not smart enough to track it. Maybe one of you can follow the trail.

As always my answer is Drill,Drill,Drill.

Thank you Exxon-Mobil for all that you have done for America as well as the world. You gave us great power to do and accomplish many things. You made it possible to heat our homes, drive our automobiles and create a myriad of products all from oil. Oil you brought to us via innovation, hard work and dedication. Where would we be without you?

It amazes me how villainized you have become. A scapegoat for sure. Politicians holding hearings, news stories one after the other. A diversionary tactic so as not to see the real culprits, Congress!

The solution is to Drill, Drill, Drill. And for Congress to get the hell out of the way,cut your taxes, and set the American spirit ablaze.

It's criminal what Congress is doing. We are falling behind and we only have ourselves to blame. Vote them out, let's get some pro-Americans to rekindle the flame of prosperity once again.

United We Stand

United we stand is something we learned early on in grade school. So fundamental, so necessary for the success of any organization. There was no way we could loose site of something so basic and important, I thought.

Well, look at us now. On the brink of losing it all. Divided we fall. Congress and the American public divided just about 50/50. These are struggling times, times of growth, change, complacency maybe?

Too much trust in our government may have led us here. Believing "they" will do what's right. Lack of education in all levels of our education system. It is not taught that we are the guardians of all that is good in America. We should not abdicate our responsibilities to anyone. It's far too important.

So what do we do? Well, for starters, we look at how our politicians vote. Do they vote with America's interest in mind, or to keep in good favor with the party leaders and the lobbyists who contribute to their campaigns?

It's nice when a politician brings home the earmarks to your state to buy your vote, but we can't let this over ride the national interest any longer. We are so divided we can't even supply our own energy any more.

Holding their feet to the fire is a solution. If they don't do what's in the best interest of the country, we must vote them out. Sometimes it's a difficult decision booting out someone with seniority. We must look beyond our own interests to the greater good.

So voting record is the number one and best indicator and make sure they do what they promise at election time.

The Sad Truth

The sad truth is at least half of Congress is anti-American. Think about it. We have oil reserves, coal reserves, gas reserves and nuclear technology. Half of Congress won't allow any of this to be touched. China, India and Cuba are drilling for oil off our coastline, slant drilling at that. Where are the environmentalists now? Then there is the dollar being devalued, making it possible to sell more goods overseas. Sure, it helps with the deficit, but at what cost?

Oh and let's not forget ethanol. We are burning our food supply. Farmers are growing corn for fuel, not for human consumption. The whole world is effected by this blunder. We all know it, but the charade continues.

This is truly a crises by anyone's definition. This Congress is letting us down. There is no leadership from the White House, or anywhere else. The prospects of Obama and McCain are frightening.

When I was growing up there was Communism to contend with. We kept a watchful eye out for signs of it. Today it's the environmentalist we have to watch out for. And guess what -- Congress is loaded with them. The best money can buy.

Then there are the socialists in Congress. Another can of worms. Transfer of wealth is their mantra. Maxine Waters threatened to nationalize the oil industry. These are not the people who we should be trusting. They've proven their intentions, their disdain for the American way of life. We should be more like the Europeans they say.

Do I have to mention global warming? What a sham. You do know you can buy carbon offsets from Al Gore's company, right? I'll give you a better deal, call me. There has been no increase in the Earth's temperature in the last 10 years. The Earth is dynamic not static. Oh, and Barbra Boxer doesn't want to leave a sweltering world to our grand children!

We are leaders not followers. Congress has lost site of that fact. Which brings me to the new world order crowd. It all fits in, recking our economy, being subservient to the United Nations, weakening our currency, and guess what? We will be taken over without a shot fired.

Washington, do you hear us?

We have been telling you for years now. Just follow the Constitution. Nothing more-- nothing less.

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

There you have it. Set us up with a solid defense, a rule of law, order, an energy policy and get out of the way, GO HOME.

It's not your job to transfer wealth, to spend our money as though it were yours.

What are you doing holding hearing on baseball? The United States Congress-- baseball? Go Home! Walk around and meet your constituents. Talk to us, get to know us. Visit VA hospitals, pump your own gas-- go grocery shopping. How about a visit to the schools in your district. Learn what the schools are and are not teaching. I believed you'll be amazed. A trip to a military base would be in order, get to know the people who make our country safe. Stop in the police stations and meet those who protect us every day. I don't suppose you thought it was you.

Wouldn't It Be Nice

Wouldn't it be nice to wake every morning knowing that the honorable people in Washington, DC were working to make this the best country for you and me?

Knowing they are working in harmony, you know bi-partisan effort. Shunning the efforts by the lobbyist. Refusing to take bribes of any sort.

Doing the peoples work---how noble! Making sure the conditions are right for industry, we wouldn't want big business to leave our shores. Why where would Americans work to support their families? No, they would lower taxes, rid the country of regressive laws and just get out of the way.

And wouldn't it be nice to know that when we went to sleep at night the good folks in Washington, DC worked so hard that they had an energy plan? We could heat and cool our homes, drive to and from work and maybe a ride out into the country side. All without worrying about the cost.

Knowing that we had a choice as to whether we continue in the social security program, or opt into a self directed security account. Choice is good right? That's what it means to live in America,right? Of course, it goes without saying.

And you know they would make health saving plans available, oh man, what a country!

And as we dream at night we would dream as did Martin Luther King Jr. We would live as one America, with many religions. None being discriminated against. It's freedom of religion, not from religion.

Oh these great protectors of America, think only of we the people, isn't it great?

We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Economic Stimulus Surprise

So you got your economic stimulus money. Good for you.

Congress is hoping you'll go out and spend it. Buy anything. Just like it does. Just like your own personal earmark.

Excessive buying on credit (ours and Congress') helped get us to this point. Now, even if you're maxed-out on your cards, you can just charge it against your taxes.

I couldn't find this in the IRS FAQs, but according to H&R Block, this money is actually an advance on next year's tax refund. So, if you got $600, when you file your taxes in 2009, $600 will be deducted from your refund. But, if your refund next year is less than your rebate this year, you don't have to pay back the excess.

The bottom line? Have just the right amount of federal taxes withheld in 2008, so that you won't get a refund, and you get to keep the $600.

Now that would really be an economic stimulus.

George W. Bush's Legacy

After the attack of 9/11/2001, George Bush stepped up to the plate and hit a home run. That is how history will read twenty years from now. The foresight displayed by riding the world of an evil man and changing the political climate in the Middle East. After America was punched several times, George W. Bush hit back.

Iraq will be the shining star in the region. The light from this star will empower peoples of the oppressed countries to rise up and join the free world. No doubt it will take time for this to manifest, but it has begun, thanks to President Bush.

I can hear the nay sayers. Not all of his policies were popular. Spending was way out of control. Hurricane Katrina didn't help matters. The press and those who don't like the President blame him. It will be shown that the corrupt government of New Orleans spent the money allocated to strengthening the levy system on other projects. The mismanagement of the evacuation by the Mayor's office and the failure of the Governor to act will be the culprits.

All in all, the tax cuts worked well -- three and a half years of good economic times and prosperity, despite 9/11, Katrina and fighting two wars.

We are all grateful to our men and women who fought and those who are fighting even now.

This is not the America we all know and love. Nor is it the America the Founding Fathers created.

Shame, Shame on Johnny Boy Sutton, on the Attorney General Mukasey, most of congress and last but not least President Bush. Please pardon these American Heroes. How do you expect other brave men and women to risk their lives and risk their freedom when over zealous prosecutors and non caring government officials turn a blind eye?

Did you all have more than one hour of sunlight per day over the past year plus? Have you spent years thinking you were doing a good deed for America only to land in solitary confinement?

What is the real story behind this American tragedy. There has got to be more to it.
Thugs on the street get better treatment than Ramos and Campean for crimes against American society, terrorists get lighter sentences.

These men will always be Heroes to me. And the lesson is; if you're good at enforcing the law, remember your all alone, you don't have backup.

President Bush, please look into that Christian heart of yours and do the RIGHT thing. Bring these men home where they belong with their families. They have suffered enough permanent damage to their lives and the lives of their families.

Who Will Stand With Me ?

Who will stand with me and fight those who are corrupting our system? Who will stand with me and force the special interests out of Washington?

We all know Congress and the special interest groups are in bed with each other. So looking towards government to solve our problems is a non sequitur. Where does that leave us?

The only power we have is the ballot box. We almost got it to work with the Contract with America, but the juniors were quickly corralled into the fold and coerced into following the big footprints of the status quo.

While we have very brave men and women fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan, we at home must do our part and make sure they have something worth coming home to. It is our responsibility!

The time has come to allow drilling in Anwr, off our coasts and in the Gulf of Mexico. After all, Cuba and China have formed a partnership to do just that. Who do you think has the better technology to drill cleanly and safely?

Then there is coal made into fuel; Germany developed this technology during WWII. The Air Force is doing this as we speak. We certainly don't want to be dependent on anyone other than ourselves when it comes to our defense. The time has come to build nuclear plants and certainly refineries.

All this "green" nonsense has got to stop. All it does is make money for Al Gore and those who jump on the bandwagon. There is zero evidence of man-made globe warming and the temperature has not increased in the last 10 years. So stop the silliness.

I know there is so much money on the table that the oil companies don't want to leave. This is very short sighted. Speaking of which, look at the unintended consequences of what happened when ethanol was mandated to buy a few votes and to appease the environmentalists. The whole world is affected. The price of food is more than some people can afford in some of the poorer countries. The price of fuel being bid up by speculators is going to kill the goose that lays the golden egg.

So what I am saying is it is up to us to push Washington into action with pressure, much pressure.

This is where we can start. Make contact with your representatives and let them know we are paying attention, and that we vote. We will be voting on the way they vote and perform. Start by calling the offices of your representatives and talk about drilling for oil. Call again the next day to talk about converting coal to fuel oil. Keep calling to talk about more refineries and nuclear power plants.

Lastly we don't need all these designer gasolines for different parts of the country and different seasons. This increases the cost and increases the inefficiency in the system.

All this, by the way, will produce many good paying jobs right here at home.

None of the Presidential candidates has a clue about the economy so there is no hope there. Vote the status quo out and let fresh ideas in.

The Common Good

The common good, isn't that what we all want for America? I know there has to be debate, and that can be constructive. However it is no longer about debate. It's about power, selfishness, and even hatefulness. We have moved so far from working for the common good that we no longer expect anything but divisiveness and therefore we except the rhetoric from both parties as the way it is, and we cannot do anything about it.

We must interject ourselves into the debate as well as the processes. We can no longer trust in the representative government. Congress no longer listens to us. They live in a world of their own, alongside special interest money that is pouring into the system with a devastating effect.

What's in the public interest? Energy policies! Why don't we drill off our own coast? In Alaska? In the Gulf? China is in the process of drilling in the Gulf with Cuba! Who has the best record for clean technology, China/Cuba or the United Sates of America?

How about refineries for gasoline? How about nuclear energy? Can the environmentalists have that much money and power to block it? Something doesn't add up.

"We the People" must take control back from the "me first" crowed. Get involved, demand our country back. It is after all our responsibility to safeguard the governmental structure set up more than two hundred years ago.

We are off course for sure. Many people are pulling us toward socialism, not learning the lessons of Canada, France, Sweden, Great Britain and others. Our system is a good one. Let's preserve it. Send the politicians home, cut their pay and for Pete's sake elect common people to Congress. There are plenty of people with the smarts and patriotism who could and would step up for a one or two term commitment.

There are way too many special interest groups claiming to have our best interests in mind when they lobby the folks who work on the hill. You know that's not true. It's all about massaging the laws to work in their favor. It has nothing to do with our best interest. We tell our representatives what we want and need. We don't need a go between. We need politicians who will listen and act in everyone's best interest.

Anyone in their third term, vote them out!

1.4 Billion Dollars to Mexico?

How dumb is our government? Mexico is one of the most corrupt countries in the world and we are going to spend 1.4 billion dollars in aid and training and equipment? The last time we did this with Mexico, the men we trained went over to the winning side, the drug cartel side. The equipment went with them as did the weapons. I don't know where the money went.

Not much has been revealed about the agreement. Some are saying some of the funds will be used to combat terrorisms. Who's against that? Right? Seems to me we could and should clean up our own act by closing the border. This in turn would greatly reduce much of the drugs on our streets. We should also crack down, no pun intended, on drug use. This is something we can do. We know who the traffickers are, who the users are.

I'm not saying it's easy to do. I just don't see why we haven't wanted to. I know there has been a lot of money spent on "the war on drugs", but with too many restrictions and who knows how far money has made it up the chain of command. There's a tremendous amount of money to be made, and a lot of it is floating around. Someone has got to start the ball rolling. It's in our court: someone pick it up and run.

Veteran's Day

Let me start out by giving thanks to all our fallen heroes and those serving today. Also to the families who lost loved ones and those separated from their very own heroes.

Now, politics as usual. While Nancy Pelosi made some admirable remarks, she just couldn't leave out politics on this special day. She had to be derogatory in her comments regarding the Republican's block of the Senate's veterans bill. Both parties knew it was heading for a veto.

The ten billion dollar domestic spending add-on to the veterans bill made the bill outside the parameters of the President's budget. Add-ons are a practice used by both parties, I know. This one stands out because we are at war and I think we should put all that BS aside and show some appreciation for those fighting in distant lands.

So the battle in Washington rages on even on the one day set aside for honoring some truly selfless people.
